48/12 Converters
Converters that power 12 V equipment from a 48 V system — typical for solar installations, telecom sites and boats with a 48 V bank that still need 12 V for lights, routers or pumps. Ordered by output current.
Isolated (Orion-Tr) models galvanically separate input from output — this breaks ground loops (hum, interference on radios and instruments) and is the safe choice on boats and wherever the two circuits must not share a ground. Non-isolated models are smaller and cheaper — fine in vehicles where everything shares the chassis ground. IP67 units are fully sealed and can live in the engine bay; IP20 units need a dry, ventilated spot.
Note: a converter holds a steady output voltage — it powers equipment. If you want to charge a battery while driving, you need a charge profile, not a fixed voltage: see our .
