GX Devices & Displays

A GX device is the brain of a Victron system: it connects inverter/chargers, MPPT solar chargers, battery monitors, BMS, energy meters and tank or temperature sensors, shows everything on one screen and sends the data to the free VRM portal for remote monitoring, alarms, firmware updates and remote configuration. It is also what makes ESS (grid-connected self-consumption) possible.

How to choose. Cerbo GX MK2 is the standard choice for almost any system (no built-in screen: add a GX Touch, or use a phone, tablet or laptop). Ekrano GX is a Cerbo with a 7-inch touchscreen built in. Nucleo GX is the compact version with fewer ports. The inverter/chargers marked (GX) already have a GX built in and only need a GX Touch display.
