DC-DC Chargers – charge while driving

DC-DC chargers charge a service battery from the alternator / starter battery while the engine is running — caravans, campers, boats, work vehicles. Unlike a simple converter, they use a proper multi-stage charge algorithm and engine detection, so they work correctly with smart (Euro 6) alternators and with lithium batteries. All models include Bluetooth (VictronConnect).

The arrow in the product name shows the direction: 24V → 12V charges a 12 V battery from a 24 V system. Isolated models galvanically separate input from output — required on boats (prevents electro-corrosion) and recommended when the two batteries don't share a common ground. Orion XS is the newest generation: smaller, more efficient, with adjustable output.
