Vices
BERNSTEIN SPANNFIX vices are ball joint vices: the head rotates 360° and tilts ±45°, and a single lever movement releases it, lets you align it and locks it again, steplessly. The workpiece comes to a comfortable working position, not the other way round. They are made in Germany, in Remscheid, by Bernstein-Werkzeugfabrik Steinrücke GmbH.
The range includes the SPANNFIX vice with 50 mm plastic jaws (70 mm opening, 1470 N clamping force) for clamping or screwing onto the bench, the SPANNFIX PRO vice with 100 mm steel jaws and 12,000 N, dissipative ESD versions for electronics labs, VARIO PCB holders for boards from 25 to 270 mm, and M12 x 1.5 ball joint bases onto which vice heads, universal plates or your own fixtures are screwed.
