Torque Tools

Torque screwdrivers are screwdrivers with an adjustable tightening torque: once the value set in Nm is reached, the mechanism releases with a click and stops transmitting force. The screw is tightened exactly as the manufacturer specifies, without stripping the thread, cracking the enclosure or damaging the circuit board.

They are used wherever a tightening torque is prescribed: assembly of electronic and measuring equipment, mounting components on PCBs, tightening terminals and connection clamps in switchboards, fine mechanics, service and laboratory work. The low values, 0.05 to 3 Nm, cover the M1.6 – M5 screws found in electronics and electrical engineering.
