Description:

The new Megger MIT400 Series Insulation and Continuity Testers have been designed for electrical testing by electricians in the industrial, commercial and domestic fields. A wide range of features make the MIT400 series the ideal tool for the maintenance and service/repair engineer.

Insulation testing:

• Insulation test voltages in the range 50V to 1000V with insulation resistance measurement up to 200 GΩ
• Single Variable Voltage Tester 10V to 100V (MIT40X)
• Test block - blocks insulation testing
• The actual test voltage value is displayed simultaneously with the measured value on a large display
• The analog bar in the form of a circular arc that simulates the movement of the needle
• Polarization index (PI), dielectric absorption ratio (DAR) and timer function
• Silicone cords, to prevent errors in the GΩ range
• Stopping testing when a voltage higher than 50V or 75V is detected in telecommunications testers. Detection and protection when connected to active circuits
• Buzzer - with programming of alarm values from the menu
  Continuity testing:
• The automatic contact test allows real two-handed operation
• Selectable test current of 200 mA or 20 mA, to save batteries
• Compensation of the resistance of the measuring cables up to the value of 9 Ω
• Buzzer - activation / deactivation by pressing a button
• Buzzer with adjustable threshold in 5 steps from 1 Ω to 20 Ω
