The VEMER Klima SI (code VE021200) is a wall-mounted mechanical thermostat with gas membrane technology and a convenient front knob to set the desired room temperature. It is suitable for controlling heating or cooling systems.
The device features a power indicator light that turns on when the thermostat is active, and an on/off switch to enable or disable operation. The summer/winter selector allows the user to choose between cooling and heating modes.
Operating principle
A gas inside the membrane expands as it heats up, increasing internal pressure. This pressure pushes the membrane against an electrical contact that activates the heating or cooling system, providing reliable temperature control without electronics.
