VEMER - VE018800 - Klima 2 mechanical thermostat, wall-mounted, knob control, gas membrane, heating only
Wall-mounted mechanical thermostat with gas expansion membrane and knob control. Suitable for heating systems only. A simple, robust solution with no electronics, no batteries and no display — just direct mechanical control.
How a gas expansion thermostat works
A gas expansion thermostat works by heating a gas contained within a membrane. As the gas heats up, it expands and increases the pressure inside the membrane. The pressure pushes the membrane, which is connected to an electrical contact that activates the heating system.
Design and use
The device is characterised by a convenient front knob, allowing the user to set the desired temperature directly. Simple, intuitive operation without menus or programming.
Setting range limitation
The device allows the temperature setting range to be limited with a few simple steps. This is useful, for example, for installations in public places, preventing unauthorised people from changing the temperature settings.
Installation note
When installed at altitudes above 1000 m above sea level, the calibration values are not guaranteed.
