DESCRIPTION

The DCM340 is an extremely versatile tool that is ideal for use in the installation, maintenance, monitoring or testing of AC or DC electrical systems or equipment. There are four instruments in the DCM pliers series, including DCM310 - only with current measurement up to 400 A AC; DCM320 which also includes voltage and resistance measurement; DCM330 multimeter fork, which has a fixed "jaw" structure; and this one, DCM340. With the ability to measure AC or DC currents up to 600 A, AC and DC voltages up to 600 V, resistors up to 400 Ω, and frequencies up to 400 Hz, the DCM340 is the most versatile instrument in the range. The functions of a complete and accurate multimeter on the DCM340 eliminate the need to have an ammeter and a multimeter with us, this instrument fulfilling all tasks. The high-digit numeric display is supplemented by a high-resolution digital graphic bar, useful for indicating measurement trends and fluctuations. The display light helps the operator in dimly lit places such as switchboards and the data-hold function allows use on cables that are difficult to access and where the display could not be read anyway. Min / Max hold allows you to temporarily store the maximum and minimum values ​​of CC or rms in a period of time. The current value or the maximum or minimum can be displayed during storage. Peak hold stores the maximum and minimum peak values ​​of an AC signal with a sampling rate of 10 ms. The auto shut-off function switches the instrument to power save mode 30 minutes after start-up, but this function can be deactivated if the min / max measurement is desired. Using the relative mode (REL), a stable value can be stored, the instrument zero being set at that point, and from that moment any variation from that value is displayed as a direct measurement relative to it. DCM340 is IEC 61010-1 Cat III certified 600 V, and is tested for drop from 1.2 m on hard ground. Comes with test cords and carrying case.
