DESCRIPTION

DCM310 and DCM320 are ideal measuring pliers for use during the installation, maintenance and overhaul of electrical equipment and systems. Both models measure AC current (50 to 60 Hz) up to 400A, with a Data-hold data retention feature that freezes the value displayed for use in limited situations where the display may be difficult to read. The DCM310 also has a maximum value retention function to automatically store and display the maximum value measured over a period of time. The DCM320 offers the advantage of measuring ranges for AC and DC voltages up to 600 V and resistances up to 20 MΩ, using the supplied test leads and terminals. It also has a continuity buzzer with operation up to 20 Ω. Both instruments have a degree of security IEC 61010 CAT III 600V, offering high levels of operator protection. Carrying covers are included but even without the cover, the instruments are rated to withstand a 1.2 m drop on a hard surface without damage. Compact pliers jaws allow measurement on cables with a diameter of up to 27 mm, covering most applications in the field of electrical installations and systems. Ideal for use by anyone working on basic electrical equipment or systems, these tools are also suitable for most applications encountered by electrical contractors.
