Both models provide plug-and-play connectivity to all VE.Direct-enabled devices without monthly fees or subscriptions for five years, with the option to extend afterwards.

The GlobalLink 530 connects up to two VE.Direct products (SmartSolar / BlueSolar MPPT, BMV or SmartShunt battery monitor, Phoenix inverter) and up to 10 Smart products over Bluetooth directly to the free VRM portal, without a GX device. Two digital inputs (pulse counters) and one remotely controllable relay allow simple monitoring and control; RuuviTag wireless temperature sensors are supported. Internal antenna plus SMA connector for an optional external antenna; prepaid data SIM with 5 years of connectivity included, own SIM also supported. Supply 8–70 V DC, wall mounting.

Choose the 530 where LTE-M coverage is weak or uncertain: 4G Cat-1 with 2G fallback works on practically every mobile network. For a complete system with a GX device, use the GX LTE 4G-E instead.
